Hello, my name is Liviu, and I am interested in joining your team. I have solid experience in the field of quality, having worked for four years at Universal Alloy Corporation. During my first two years at UAC, I worked as a CNC Operator, where I learned how CNC machines function, how raw material is transformed into a finished part, and I gained essential knowledge in technical drawings and measurement.
After two years in this role, I transitioned to the Quality department, where I spent another two years as a Quality Inspector in the Final Inspection area. I progressed quickly in this position, eventually taking responsibility for the non‑conformities area and receiving an additional role as Certifying Staff (Part 21G).
In my role as a Quality Inspector, I developed strong teamwork skills, refined my technical drawing abilities, and learned to pay close attention to detail. I supported NADCAP audits and became proficient in using measurement instruments to ensure that all parts met the highest quality standards. While managing the non‑conformities area, I participated in meetings with process engineers to determine appropriate rework solutions for non‑conforming parts, which helped me deepen my understanding of quality processes.
Through my secondary role as Certifying Staff (Part 21G), I learned to inspect parts with even greater precision and to place increased importance on every detail. I was responsible for verifying parts both according to customer drawings and customer specifications, checking delivery documentation, ensuring that parts were properly packaged for shipment, and issuing Certificates of Conformance. Additionally, I am proficient in using Microsoft Office applications as well as the Epicor ERP system.
