Affiliations

I am experienced both in the field of General Nursing and Intellectual Disability. Therefore I am able to assess service users that need medical attention as well as improving their quality of life in the community.

I am a wife and a mother of three responsible children, ages 21, 17, 15. I am also working fulltime in the hospital set up. Managing my time with everyday life is a a combined challenge, and a blessing from Lord Almighty.

I would proudly say that I have supportive husband to tackle these tasks. With all of these, I can still find time to meet friends for a cup of coffee after an hour walk.

Accomplishments

  • Over the years in the hospital set up, I have to take responsibility to be the lead nurse at times. And I learned a lot to manage the staffs, the patients and their families, and the medical team. It is a great opportunity for me to excel in this category.
  • I was also given the role to fill up the beds in the three wards in Fairview as a Senior Enhanced Nurse. This was recognized as a very important role. I have been in different hospitals, Beaumont, Mater Private, Clontarf Rehab to assess the most suitable patient to be transferred to Fairview Community Unit.
