• Live replays for a variety of live sport and light entertainment shows on multiple channels and streaming sites - such as Racing TV, Racing TV Extra, TG4, RTÉ, RTÉ Player & GAA+.
• Ingesting media onto VT machines, monitoring feeds coming into VT machines.
• Constructed highlight packages used in live broadcasts and uploaded onto social media.
• Archived footage of the day in storage, and arranging for the transport of the footage.
• Maintained the VT machines and performed troubleshooting tasks promptly, avoiding major breakdowns.

• Trained on EVS, BLT, ViBox and K2 Dyno.
• VT Guaranteed on RTÉ's ‘No Place Like Home’, GAA+ matches and TG4 Racing.
• Assisted in training new staff, ensuring efficient team performance.

• Injested raw footage from multiple sources, also sourced hard to find footage when client requested it.
• Maintained organised digital filing system for easy retrieval of project files.
• Worked closely with the clients, keeping them up to date with the progress and allowing them to give feedback.
• Adapted quickly to feedback and requests from clients, improving overall product quality.
• Worked well under pressure, produced exceptional content whilst adhering to the client's exact wishes and completing projects before strict deadlines.
• Delivered high-quality videos through precise audio and visual editing using the software Final Cut Pro.
• Conducted thorough quality checks before finalising video products.

Key Achievements:

• Became proficient in audio editing in Final Cut Pro.
• Every VT used in the 2025 Irish Thoroughbred Breeders' Association's National Breeding & Racing Awards was edited solely by me.

Responsibilities:

• Assisted the crew in rigging and de-rigging for the day in each racecourse.
• Recorded the dirty of race, the internal CCTV of the racecourse, using a Matrox, and uploaded them onto DropBox. These are then uploaded onto USBs and sold to customers.
• Uploaded each camera angle of the race to multiple sites and softwares for integrity and archiving purposes.
• Edited a cut of the race and subsequent presentation for the owner of the winning horse on Final Cut Pro.
• Edited promotional packs for social media, Horse Racing Ireland and RTE news.
• Upload the day’s highlight reel onto Horse Racing Ireland’s YouTube channel.

• Learned to use editing software Final Cut Pro.
