Summary

Hi my name is Karl Gobl and I am a ten-year veteran of the fitness industry. Having a keen interest in fitness, health and wellbeing from an early age, led me into multiple educational courses and work positions within the fitness industry. Following a degree in Leisure Management and qualifying as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, I worked my way up the ladder to become the General Manager for RAW Gyms in 2019.

I am passionate about working with people and delivering exceptional standards. I believe in providing a quality experience through outstanding customer service, first - rate products and ambitious individuals. I implement regular employee training and assessments and introduced employee development plans, increasing employee motivation, performance and retention. Since the opening of RAW Gyms in 2019, I have increased RAWs overall class quantity by 64% and implemented new personal training standards to boost PT revenue from 20 sessions to 100 sessions per week.

Right now, I am looking to take on a new challenge. I am always looking to improve, grow and develop as an individual. Loving my time in RAW, I believe the next chapter awaits.

  • Manage, lead and motivate a team of fitness trainers, receptionists and sales apprentices.
  • Deliver high standard in relation to club hygiene, turnover time on gym equipment,employee retention (80%).
  • Deliver 1 corporate event and 1 charity event every year.
  • KPI and reporting - Personal training, gym and class weekly/monthly stats.
  • Complete monthly manager reports on areas of focus for each month and lease with the operations director.
  • Deliver budgets in relation to hygiene, gym maintenance and team wages.
  • Drive and lead RAW's fitness products: 75% occupancy each week across all Group sessions.
  • Drive the staff portal to ensure employees are engaging with all club activities (50% engagement achieved at all times).
  • Develop employees for 2024 within the agreed Training Budget.
  • Deliver 2 Assessments Days each year, this will include new content, new development plans and reassessments to progress both teams.
  • Deliver a successful event every month, along with member referrals programs - high member and employee engagement throughout these events in both locations.
  • Achieve 30+ sales calls with a 8% answer rate daily.
