  • Lead day-to-day delivery of a €1m hospital refurbishment project in a live clinical environment, taking on project management responsibilities while reporting to senior management.
  • Plan and coordinate works around patients, staff and visitors, managing permits, isolations and sequencing to maintain hospital operations and protect life-safety.
  • Manage RFIs and submittals on a project with an incomplete drawing package, tracking queries and submissions from identification through to response and implementation on site.
  • Proactively raise RFIs where limited or conflicting information is issued, coordinating responses between design team, client and subcontractors to avoid delays and rework.
  • Review submittals from subcontractors and suppliers against available design information, ensuring approvals are in place before works proceed and communicating changes to site teams.
  • Prepare the fortnightly Contractor's Report using Procore and MS Excel, collating and maintaining integrated registers across safety, programme, information, quality, BCAR and resources (RAMS, toolbox talks, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, temporary works, inspections, labour and plant).
  • Develop and update 2- and 4-week look-ahead programmes, report progress, highlight issues and concerns, and propose sequencing or resourcing adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Use SharePoint, Procore and ArcTechPro to manage drawings, RFIs, QA records and BCAR documentation, ensuring site teams always work from current information.

  • Prioritise site safety through inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety walks, ensuring RAMS are understood and followed and stopping works where methods or PPE are not compliant.
  • Implement and monitor quality checks at key stages, coordinating inspections and closing out snags to achieve handover standards and reduce post-completion defects.
  • Take ownership of key stage inspections including concrete foundations, walls and slabs, radon barriers, blockwork, roofs, fire barriers and fire doors, coordinating and documenting checks against drawings, specifications and fire-stopping details to support compliance and sign-off.
  • Prepare and maintain 1–2 week look-ahead plans for labour, plant and materials, scheduling call-offs and deliveries to minimise re-handling, waste and congestion on site.
  • Work closely with the Design Team to develop practical, buildable solutions to unforeseen site and coordination issues, raising buildability concerns early and contributing to design workshops and RFIs.
  • Support programme management using MS Project and Excel-based look-ahead plans, coordinating labour and material call-offs accordingly.
