Joy Feng

My name is Joy, 15 years old, I am a highly motivated and innovative individual with a passion for creative problem-solving and design. I have 4 years of sketch and design experience with an abundance of hobbies.

I honed my sketch and 3D design skills under the guidance of my Sketch teacher and Design in 3D teachers, showcasing a fast learning ability. My portfolio is enriched with projects from concept to 3D print, and I earned an A-plus score for it, demonstrating my attention to detail and high technical skills.

One of my most challenging and rewarding projects was redesigning an earthquake-proof bed. My teacher said to me, 'Joy, your redesign is so complicated. Are you sure you want to continue working on that?' I didn't give up because my experience with snowboarding taught me that even though the process was hard, you had to stand up and overcome it. To illustrate the transformation process of the bed, I had to create three different and precise sketches. Finally, through my efforts day and night, I finished my project, the largest design project I have ever done in my life. I feel proud of myself.

In addition to my passion for design, I have a wide range of hobbies that allow me to explore my creativity and develop new skills.

• I played piano for 10 years, I earned the certificate of AMEB grade 8 last year. Now it become one of my biggest hobbies and a way to relax. I use my free time to learn cool pieces such as La Campanella, Chopin's Ballade no 1, and the Italian Concerto.
• I love playing tennis, I have been playing it for four years. I get training and competition both outside and inside of the school. My favorite section of playing is rally, it is super fun.
• I have gone to Snow Mountain every year since 2022, it's the best sport ever I think without considering the dangerous level. I enjoy it.
• Golf is an amazing and relaxed sport to play, my best record of hitting the golf ball was 130 M.
• I like to play video games, especially the high graphics games. Because I was shocked by the real art of these games. My favorite games are Forza Horizon, Call of Duty, and Black Myth Wukong.
• My dog's name is QQ, and he is 5 years old. He is a fluffy, white Japanese Spitz. I dreamed of owning a dog when I was a little kid. I love my dog as much as a family member.
