Josh Vard

I am currently working as a retail sales associate at Explorium. At Explorium, I have the responsibility of ensuring a positive customer experience for all with my work here ranging from working on the reception to providing support and information to visitors on both the junior and science section floors.

I also help in the running of different events at the venue. These events can range from children's birthday parties, arts and crafts sessions, and planning sensory sessions for individuals with additional needs.

I have experience in event management and I am skilled in being able to help ensure a positive experience for all customers.

At Rainforest Adventure Golf, I had the responsibilities of supervising all staff on the floor to help ensure that our team were able to give customers the best experience possible at our venue.

At Rainforest Adventure Golf, my responsibilities ranged from opening and closing the venue, handling the cash at the start and end of the day, managed various corporate events and trained new staff on venue operations.

It was also my duty to do daily stock checks, fire safety checks, bathroom checks, temperature checks in all freezers and fridges, and managing the cleaning of the venue to help ensure that it was always up to standard. My work here also included the preparation of hot and cold beverage's and food. Throughout my experience at Rainforest Adventure Golf, I demonstrated the ability to work in high-pressure scenarios and developed great customer service skills and management skills.
