I am currently Delivery Manager & SCRUM Master for a client team at FNZ.

I manage a cross functional team of 12 people who deliver change on a Policy Administration system which is used by our client, a global bank. My aim is to constantly improve our delivery capability, increasing our throughput & raising transparency of our work as well as maintaining a keen Client focus in everything we do.

• Lead the team in an Agile approach. Ensure all work is completed according to our Definition of Done. Facilitate all Agile events (daily huddle, planning, review & retrospectives)
• Manage sprint burndown and daily MI / Metrics and dashboards
• Support the team through the elimination of any blockers.
• Maintain forward planning schedule, agreed with client. Manage the product backlog.
• Manage daily communications with client and participate in weekly deliverables call with client to review progress and issues.
• Lead weekly solution design and estimation as well as agile story refinement
• Ensure all relevant SDLC controls and processes are followed for all developments and that all milestones are met
• Manage a number of direct reports, conducting regular 1-2-1s, performance management reviews, mentoring more junior staff, etc.

I was Senior Technical Lead on a large AML related project for one of our clients.

This was a year long project where I was responsible for the following:

• Working with the Solution Consultant on design and implementation of code changes
• Maintaining oversight of all development work completed, ensuring adherence to SDLC and agreed processes
• Lead daily huddles
• Provided daily reporting to Senior Management on team progress & issues via JIRA dashboards
• Escalation of issues and removal of technical blockers for the developers
• Release planning & Estimation
