John Wright

Student teacher soon to be qualified by the end of this college year 2025, expecting a 1:1 or a high 2:1. Qualified to teach maths and physics up to a leaving cert level and science up to junior cycle level. Strive to make lessons engaging and student centred to make student's learning more impactful.

I practiced the trumpet since the age of 11. Out of my eight grades I achieved two distinctions and six high merits.

I was part of the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland which performed across the country and even across the seas over in Liverpool.

I was part of the Music Society in Maynooth where during my last two years I was Vice President and Secretary. We held many successful gigs and events throughout my time there.

I was awarded a scholarship to go to Maynooth University for attaining over 550 points in my Leaving Certificate.
