Billing controller at Y&R, later I became the Billing supervisor. I oversaw a team that did all the billing to all the Agency Clients including Ford, M&S, Lego, Pirelli and several other multinational clients.

Later I became the Client accountant for Lego. this involved negotiating fees with Lego on our projects with them this involved travelling to Billund in Denmark to explain our fees to Lego and try and encourage further projects.

WPP bought Y&R about 2000 so I now worked for the WPP Group.

I then went on to work on all our fees proposals for the Agency including proposals for new business pitches and the Intercompany Accounts reconciling payments and arranging billing to our counter parties using specialist software (Cartesis). We also make sure we agree balances with all our counter parties across the world.

In 2011 WPP founded Financeplus a company that dealt with all the transactional work for all WPP companies. I worked on Intercompany for various companies eventually I worked with Media Companies including Mediacom and Mindshare who deal with the advertising buying and planning across the medias and online.

In 2020 all the work was moved over to India, I was kept on working at Financeplus London as part of the retained team. I trained the new people in India ever since and continue to this day.

Billing Clerk I looked after large clients like Halifax Building Society and two other company's within the group.

Meetings with account handlers to discuss what we can bill make sure urgent bills are sent out and paid for to allow TV shoots to go ahead.

• Updated accounting records with new payments, balances and customer information.
• Calculated bills owed by customers, prepared invoices and distributed statements.
• Recorded sales transactions, outgoing payments, and receipts to support financial governance.
• Created improved filing system to maintain secure client data.
