Accomplishments

  • Selected as Engineers Ireland Student Ambassador 2024/2025 for ATU Galway.
  • Winning the Second year mechanical engineering project with my group with our model of a radial engine.
  • Recieving a first class honours or 1.1 in first and second year of college.

Projects

Radial engine model

For this project I was team leader in which I had to manage the progression of the project and individual work and doing crucial parts of the project such as the skeleton model in which all the model was based off, I also 3d printed parts of the project such as the resin parts and managed assembly.

CNC machined Pen

For this project Creo Parametric (PTC) was used to draw each component of the pen. The software’s assembly feature was then used to assemble the pen. Using CNC programming, CNC codes were produced for each component. The components were then manufactured using the CNC machine, polished, and assembled within the workshop.
