EVALUATION OF RESTRICTED ANTIMICROBIALS UTILISATION IN A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL
This project was carried out to analyze the antimicrobial resistance pattern among various organisms and rationalize the use of restricted antimicrobials. The study concludes that the restricted antimicrobials were mostly prescribed as empirical therapy in the study population These large numbers of empirical prescriptions of restricted antimicrobials shows the need to control the use of restricted antimicrobials.
