Jim Gallagher

Sligo

Summary

My sixteenth birthday is June 2nd. I've been working regularly with my father and some of our neighbours for the past 4 years, taking initiative and responsibility in the jobs that were given to me. Together with my brother, I took the initiative to cut and save ten hoppers of turf, which we later sold for a profit.
I'm extremely interested in sports, and I play football and hurling for the local GAA club. I represent my club's U16, U17, and U18 teams in both hurling and football. I am also part of the Sligo minor hurling panel, and the U16 Sligo football extended panel. I have a strong interest in the underage, and on Saturday mornings I train the U7 and U9 hurling teams.

I am extremely interested in obtaining summer work, where I will learn new skills and become a beneficial and valued part of the team.
