- Design Review : Reviewing electrical designs and Plans prepared by designers or consultants to ensure that these plans are comply with relevant codes and standards, and are feasible to implement on site
- Material Procurement: As per the drawings and installation details , procure electrical material and equipments required for the project. This involving the material lists, coordinating with suppliers , ensuring timely delivery, and verifying the quality of material received.
- Execution : One of my primary responsibility is to oversee the installation of electrical system on site.. this includes co-ordination with other trades to ensure proper integration of electrical components in to the overall projects
- Quality Assurance: Responsible for ensuring all electrical work is carried out to high quality standard in accordance with the approved design and Specification. this involves conducting regular inspections .
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate and Effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that everyone is aligned with project requirements and timelines
- Problem Solving: Construction projects often encounter unexpected challenges and issues and should be able to quickly identify issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective measures to keep the project on track.
- Documentations and Reporting: Maintaining the accurate records of all electrical works carried out on site, including material submittal, material delivery,, material , Work inspection , test reports and other relevant documentation. Also prepare the progress report on the status of electrical works
- Overall the role of an Electrical site Engineer is Multifunctional ,requiring a combination od technical expertise , project management skill and effective communication skill to ensure successful implementation of electrical system in Construction site.
