• Currently, I work 1 morning a week as the Nurse at Dr Niall Colwell, Consultant Cardiologist Private Clinic and have been working in this position since August 2016
• I also run another Cardiology Clinic on a Monday afternoon with Cardiologist Prof Boles

The Outpatients Department of Tipperary University Hospital runs General Medical, Diabetic, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Surgical, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, Anti-Natal and Gynaecology clinics, all of which I was one of the Nurses running the clinics on a given day

• I also ran the Urodynamics Clinic
• I was the first Nurse to be trained in Urodynamics in South Tipperary General Hospital
• Managed wound dressings, promoting healing and preventing infection.
• Updated patient records meticulously to ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the ward.
• Assisted doctors during examinations for efficient healthcare delivery.
• Educated patients on good health, providing leaflets and verbal guidance on improved wellbeing measures.
• Delivered exceptional nursing care, resulting in improved patient satisfaction rates.

• My role in these areas involved caring for the Acute Cardiac patient, ECG interpretation and recognition, Patient and Student Nurse Education, Patient Rehabilitation, also a member of the Cardiac Arrest team, liaising with the multidisciplinary team to name but a few
• I have also deputised as CNM1 and CNM 2 when the need arose
• Administered medication for pain management and symptom control.

• Managed patient discharges, providing relevant follow-up care advice with required prescriptions and medication.

Completed my nurse training and undertook a Coronary Care Course in the late 80's at St Vincents Hospital Dublin.
