Prior to beginning my employment with the company, I took a CELTA course with International House Dublin that prepared me to become a qualified English Language Teacher. Under my training, I completed 6 hours of teaching practice with voluntary students ranging at different levels of English. I have also been awarded a pass in my certificate from Cambridge University.

During my time at Shake Dog I learned to build my customer service skills by hosting customers and explaining the menu to upsell items, taking orders and interacting with customers with a friendly nature. I also handled cash and card payments, as well as trained in making coffees.

Handled cash and card payments as well as handling large purchases during busy hours. Restocked products on the Sales Floor as well as tidying the Sales Floor.

I assisted the teacher with preparing lesson materials for use in class. I was tasked with guiding students with their work and assisting the students in art classes. I prepared displays with the students’ work and handled laminating and photocopying duties as well as supervised students during break time.
