Accomplishments

  • Experience working on a variety of design projects for many different clients including but not limited to; the Department of Education, Department of Justice, Department of Foreign Affairs, Office of Public Works, Waterways Ireland, various local authority councils, and several private entities.
  • In 2016, involved in the certification process of Ireland’s first LEED certified fuel filling station, achieving Silver Certification, on behalf of one of Ireland's largest fuel retailers.
  • In 2012, appointed ‘Energy Manager’ for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accreditation award for a new decentralised Department of Justice building in Tipperary Town. The project successfully achieved Gold Certification.
  • In early 2012, awarded certification by the Passive House Institute as ‘Passive House Designer’.
  • In 2010, part of the design team which was nominated for funding by the Department of the Environment, Heritage, and Local Government under the ‘Towards Zero Carbon Homes Scheme’ for a local authority social housing scheme (Conniberry Way, Portlaoise). The project was selected among six others around the country.
