Isibeal Gilmurray

I called into your store the other day and was told to send in my CV to express my interests. I would like to apply for a summer job and I am available to work any time of the week. I am sixteen years old, I go to school at Patrician Presentation Fethard school and this is my first time applying a job.

A little bit about myself. I regularly babysit two or three kids for my parents and sometimes my aunt. I have my chores at home which I do for a small amount of pocket money, these include; sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning rooms and shelves, taking out rubbish, washing and ironing clothes, doing the dishes and helping with cooking meals.

My hobbies are playing guitar, art, writing, knitting and sowing. I have been playing guitar for six years now and have regularly played with a band in front of large crowds. My other hobbies are writing and art. My favourite writer is Stephen King and a lot of my inspirations come from horror, sci-fi or paranormal themes. I also feel inspired by renaissance art too. I regularly knit and sow and have once or twice made my own clothes.

I feel as if I am mature enough to start applying for jobs such as this. I realise I will be dealing with all types of customers that I will be able to assist and I am responsible and honest when handling money. I feel that once I am shown what to do I will confident enough to be a productive member of your staff.
