Developed strong foundation in supporting individual needs of children in a busy early years setting with over 120 children.

In my current role as an Early Years Educator in a preschool ECCE room, I am responsible for opening the creche each morning and overseeing children’s arrivals, helping them settle into their day with calmness and structure. I work closely with children aged 2.8–5 years and have daily hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs and high-functioning autism in our ECCE room.

I am passionate about creating nurturing environments where children of all abilities can thrive. I work well in a team and value collaboration with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet the unique needs of each child. I am familiar with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks and bring patience, empathy, and adaptability to everything I do. I also work in the after school rooms, my responsibilities include assisting with homework, promoting emotional and social development, and leading recreational activities. Preparing lesson content and delivery based on curriculum requirements.
