Leader of the strategy and product delivery for Hertz's global fuel and energy management platforms, leveraging AI & ML and integrations with multiple internal and third party systems for a 50% reduction target on energy cost, fuel costs and to optimise fleet turnaround operations globally. My responsibilities include:

• Owning the end‑to‑end product strategy and roadmap for Hertz’s AI/ML‑powered smart energy and fuel platform, redefining how fleets decide when and where to refuel or charge across operations in the US and Europe.
• Defining and delivering the product vision, integrating vehicle telematics, labour and rental data to power 'next best action' recommendations for fuelling and charging to optimise cost, utilisation and customer experience.
• Partnering closely with Finance and Vehicle Operations to identify and prioritise initiatives projected to deliver several million dollars (>$100M) in revenue increase, fuel savings and energy savings over a five‑year horizon, proving a tangible link between product work to commercial outcomes.
• Building and leading a cross‑functional organisation of product managers, software engineers, data scientists and operations SMEs across North America and Europe, aligning them around a multi‑year roadmap and clear KPIs.
• Introducing deeply data‑driven decision‑making practices – including experimentation, situational analysis and KPI dashboards to ensure the team focuses on the highest‑leverage opportunities for utilisation, cost, productivity and customer NPS.
• Operating in a highly ambiguous, global environment, using structured storytelling to align executive stakeholders on trade‑offs between customer experience, operational risk and commercial value.

• Owned strategy and roadmap for EV smart charging and energy services products, from incubation to scaled deployment for large commercial fleets across Europe and the US (value >$10m p.a. until 2025).
• Led delivery of an integrated fleet & smart charging product used by global logistics companies, providing a single digital experience to manage charging, energy usage and driver behaviour.
• Enhanced existing Fuels App capability for the US market to include “On-the-Go” EV charging via MSP backend, improving convenience and driving cross‑sell from fuel to charging.
• Partnered with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to support new business pursuits, contributing to >$50m in new commercial opportunities through demos, discovery workshops and solution design.`
• Led development of a proof‑of‑concept V2X home charging energy management solution, running experiments and user testing to validate customer value and technical feasibility.`
• As part of the eMobility Product Leadership team, established demand management and product prioritisation practices across multiple squads, ensuring alignment with business strategy and capacity.

• Digital Product Owner for Shell RechargePlus, a mobile‑centric EV charging platform using IoT and data science to optimise charging via a mobile app, Charge Post Management System & Smart Charging Algorithm
• Delivered a production ready solution from ideation through to deployment at 3 locations in California eliminating driver friction in EV charging and reducing site host costs by ~25%
• Championed Agile ways of working, shifting teams from waterfall to iterative delivery, improving speed and confidence in launching new features.
• Led business case and investment approval for connected car fuel payment solutions and Shell’s digital API platform, partnering with OEMs and major technology partners
• Ensured standards and interfaces for EV charging equipment management were implemented consistently across charge post operator back‑office systems.

• Led design for an innovative fuel & fleet management system integrating telematics and card transaction data to give fleet managers visibility of driver behaviour, vehicle performance and potential fraud.
• Delivered 10 major releases over 4 years with global IT and telematics partners, introducing a new end‑to‑end UAT strategy and moving teams towards more agile, integrated ways of working.

• Held multiple BA roles across large‑scale application migrations, call centre technology & retail site projects. Involved in >20 project releases and managed divestment and migration of legacy applications to a new buying organisation
• Gained early experience in requirements, testing, stakeholder management and complex enterprise architectures.
