The Anticoagulant and DVT service team led by the Nurses, has been honoured with the VTE Exemplar Award for best hospital by Thrombosis Ireland in 2021 and In 2023, the Service received a Health Service Excellence award for successfully integrating the current Nurse led Warfarin/anticoagulant and DVT service, in which I played a contributing role.
