Electrical engineer specialising in high-voltage substation and grid infrastructure projects, with 2+ years' experience delivering complex electrical works. Proven track record in project coordination, site engineering, and stakeholder collaboration, with strong exposure to HV systems, installation, and project delivery. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and contributing across multiple stages of engineering projects.
While studying Electrical engineering at SETU, I also worked as a relief milker for farmers around the Waterford area. I did this before and after college and on the weekends for some time. However, when I got to 3rd year in college, I decided to stop working during the week to focus on my studies, and I continued to milk every weekend.
I spent the summer months of 2019 working as an electrical apprentice in a large nursing home and also in an apartment complex with Excel Engineering as I was awaiting the results of my leaving cert. I then left this position to study Electrical engineering at SETU (Formally WIT). I then returned to Excel Engineering in my 3rd year of college for work placement as a student electrical engineer. After working for 9 months in Excel engineering I decided to stay on for a further 9 months and was given the title 'Junior Engineer and "Autodesk Manager".
