Commenced employment with KC Civil Engineering Ltd to oversee in the design and upgrade of the N24 Mooncoin Pavement Rehabilitation & Traffic Management Scheme. The project entailed the repair and inlay of approximately 1.7km of road pavement through the village of Mooncoin in Co. Kilkenny. Inlay pavement works required the excavation of the existing carriageway and replacement with new and/or recycled material, back to the current road levels and had to standardise the carriageway width to 6.5m through the village. Associated works to the carriageway included reinstatement of new kerb lines and footpaths. Drainage works were also carried out, including new piping, gullies, manholes, tie into existing drainage, etc.

Commenced employment with MJ Conroy to assist in the design and build of the new Hewlett Packard facility that consist of a three-storey office block on the grounds of the existing Hewlett Packard site in the Ballybrit Business Park on the outskirts of Galway City. The 89,000 square foot building will accommodate up to 700 people working in software R&D, cloud innovation and business services for HP worldwide. Main scope of work included construction of structure, furbish of interior, groundworks, drainage, services, and all ancillary works directed to the project. I took over this role from another site engineer to see the project out as the construction was at its final stage of completion.

Commenced employment with BCE Surveying as a Senior Engineer in August 2011 to coordinate and direct works for Fortescue Metal Group (FMG) at the Chichester Expansion Project Christmas Creek, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia BCE were contracted to deliver on all aspect of site engineering and survey project management. Main scope of works included setout and ascon of clearing areas, bulk earthworks for 60km of Road, Tailings Dam, River Levy, Rail Siding Platforms, Turkeys Nest, Ore Processing Facility, Earth pads, Drainage and Culverts.
Rio Tinto Coastal Water Project September 2012 to March 2014 Project Value $350m
BCE engaged by Monadelphous to assist in laying 120km Water Pipeline in Pannawonica, Western Australia. The scope of the Coastal Water Project was to install; 30km 33kV Power line, 7 number Bore Fields, Collector Main 15km Polypipe, a Transfer Pump Station, Transfer Pipeline 87km of Mild Steel and Ductile Pipe. Survey works included setout and ascon of clearing areas, ditch center line, section, scour and air valves. Precession mm setout of SMP and concrete works for the Transfer Pump Station. BCE was responsible for survey project management and control networks, machine guidance for Clearing and Trenching, setout for construction and as-constructed surveys.
DDG WAWP Project March 2014 to December 2014 Project Value $100m
BCE engaged by Monadelphous KT to assist in laying 100km Gas Pipeline in Wheatstone Ashburton Area, located near Onslow, Western Australia. The scope of the Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline Project was to link the Chevron Wheatstone Domestic Gas Plant with the Dampier Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline. BCE were responsible for site engineering project management, setout for construction and as-constructed surveys. Scope of work included setout and ascon of clearing area, workspaces, ditch center line, control network setup, pre and post clearing photography surveys, potholing records of existing services, river crossings.
