  • Liaise with Contractors during planned service maintenance of the Equipment

Projects

  • Installation of a pneumatic divert cylinder to rotate parcels into
    correct orientation for labels to be applied correctly for the customer.
  • Installation of a visual jam alerting system. This was a both visual and audible alerting system that alerted jam busters in the area of a blockage in the waste disposal conveyor. By installing this project I was able to increase the efficiency of the conveyor by 1%, resulting in an extra 145 hours
    availability per year in Amazon.
  • Installation of a parcel detection sensor. This would stop the conveyor after three minutes if the sensor did not detect a parcel. This was installed across 6 lines and reduced running costs by 3 hours a week on average. Resulting in 156 hours per year savings in running costs.
