-Collating organisation-wide feedback in response to PHARMAC consultations.

- Acting as liaison person between PHARMAC and ADHB.

- Communicating changes to the Pharmacy Department, the HMC and Clinical Directors.

- Conducting teaching sessions and updating electronic resources to reflect formulary changes.

Other regular duties as Secretary of the Medicines Committee included;

- Facilitating access to high-cost medicines at ADHB;

- Organising HMC quarterly meetings;

- Presenting drug usage reports to the HMC;

- Maintaining electronic archives and databases for HMC meetings and decisions.

  • From January 2013 to August 2013, I assisted in the role of procurement, working closely with inventory staff and communicating with suppliers regularly to facilitate access to medicines at ADHB.
  • Coordinated policy and guideline review within the Auckland Hospital Pharmacy Department from September 2012 to September 2013.
  • From June 2015 to October 2015, reviewed and updated the ADHB Medication Administration Guidelines.
