In my previous summer job in The Sandhouse hotel,I worked along with a team as a housekeeper.

In this job In the morning I started of by cleaning the guest toilets as they had to maintain adequate inventory levels.

Every day we worked our way through the hotel doing departures which meant cleaning the room fully for it to be ready for guests the next evening.When cleaning the room I had to make sure to put in my hardest efforts to polishing,changing the bed and cleaning the toilets as I think this is important not only for hygiene reasons but also for the guests.Guests are paying for a getaway break from their everyday lives they need to be satisfied with their stay and their needs need to be met at a high standard.

I also had to clean guests rooms who were staying there for another day these were called ''stay ons''.Here I just had to make the guest(s) bed and making sure there happy with everything and they don't need anything for example:extra towels or extra teabags.

For this job I do think you have to be a peoples person,you need to know how to engage with people in a polite manner and be willing gto meet their needs,which in my opinion is important for any job that's dealing with visitors or guests on a day to day basis.

I took alot of skills and knowledge away from The Sandhouse.Everyday when i left from my work shift I felt like I had achieved something and learned something new each day.I am a very talkative,hard working person but here I took away how to have a good work ethic and work as a part of a team and how to engage with people on a daily basis.If you except my offer I definitely will bring away these traits from my first summer job experience to Campview farm.
