SDS Creation and Maintenance:
- Developed Safety Data Sheets to meet regulatory requirements for clients for their chemical inventory.
- Ensuring that clients have the latest SDS’ in their inventory.
- Responsible for the overall support and implementation of new and existing clients making sure that any questions or queries are resolved quickly and efficiently throughout EHSQ software systems.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Keeping up to date with global and local chemical safety regulations to ensure that all SDS documents adhere to current standards.
Consulting on Safety Practices:
- Advising companies on best practices for chemical safety and handling procedures based on the information within the SDS’.
- This includes providing templates for clients to fill in the information needed for each product and manufacturer to retrieve accurate safety data sheets and suggesting necessary changes needed in storage or emergency response protocols.
Risk Assessment and Hazard Communication:
- Risk Assessment calls are completed to communicate with clients about the hazards and what is needed to compile a compliant SDS for their chemical inventory.
- Analysing the chemical inventories of clients ensuring that all SDS’ are compliant for their workplace safety.
Document Management Systems:
- Implementing and managing digital SDS databases that allow easy access, updating and distribution of SDS’ across the organisation.
Auditing and Reviews:
- Performing periodic reviews of existing SDS documents and practices to ensure continuous compliance and identify areas of improvement.
- Conducting audits to check that the company’s SDS’ are up to date and compliant to ensure current safety practices are in place.
