I completed the Leaving Cert in 2024, and commenced college in TUS, Limerick studying Property Valuation and Management. I am a Kinaesthetic learner and I learned quickly that college at this stage in my life was not for me. I decided to take a gap year to explore my options and to save money.
I have worked in Hotel Kilkenny since I was 16 as I wanted to become independent and to learn new skills. During the nearly 4 years I have worked in the hotel I have gained a huge amount of experience in the Hospitality sector. Between breakfast shifts, bar, functions and weddings I have developed and observed the skills needed in all these areas. I have also matured greatly. I believe this on the ground, front-line experience has equipped me to go to the next level as supervisor. My skills lie in customer focus, observation skills, solving problems, communication, leadership and teamwork. I am a hard worker and learn quickly on the job.
