Skills

  • I love to learn
  • I have a positive attitude toward work, school, and life
  • I’m organised and efficient
  • I perform well in leadership roles
  • I love meeting new people and learning from them
  • I’m hardworking, and I strive to do everything to the best of my ability

Affiliations

  • I love to dance. It is one of the most universal and expressive forms of art. I take part in weekly classes and perform in shows and demonstrations. I especially love lyrical and commercial.
  • Gaelic football is my favourite team sport (hockey coming in at a close second). The GAA community is especially strong and nothing beats a win against a rival team!
  • I play both school and club hockey. It's fast paced, skilful and exciting.
  • I've been playing piano since I was seven. It has helped me to understand and read scores and compositions and is one of the contributing factors to why I love music so much.
  • Reading is my favourite thing to do. “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” - C.S. Lewis.
  • I've been doing drama ever since I can remember. Acting on stage is the best. I've been lucky enough to play a couple leads in different musicals and shows throughout the years and I've never had so much fun.
  • Cooking and baking is my most relaxing pastime. I love every type of cooking show, and I love to try out new recipes.

Accomplishments

  • I've taken part in the yearly Speech & Drama Teachers of Ireland festival many times. Over the years I've won first place in my monologue, duologue and the intermediate Shield for poetry.
  • I won the GAA championship back to back with St. Brigid's in 2021 and 2022, and came top of the table last year in league.
  • In my hockey club, Dublin North, we won the Girls Inter Division 1B League 2023-24.
  • I'm a grade 6 ABRSM piano player.
