Summary

Ambitious, enthusiastic, and adaptable! Extensive experience within the Polyurethane industry which has given me a variety of skills across multiple areas within the department. This includes mechanical and chemical processing skills, management skills and project upscaling and development. I have shown excellent skills in both communication and teamwork which I developed while working for Kingspan Ltd and various training programmes. Focused and dedicated with proven experience delivering large-scale projects to cost, quality and timeframe targets. Engages teams and stakeholders with activity to increase productivity and performance. Calm and proactive under pressure for responsive production line leadership.

I also enjoy sports and have excelled in it over the years! I have been awarded a Sports Scholarship for Archery at GMIT. I also enjoy working out in the gym and like to maintain a healthy lifestyle!

Senior R&D Chemical Process Engineer

  • Senior Engineer for the Prototype lab in Kingspan's Global R&D Centre
  • Training of new personnel on the prototype machines and SOP/RA procedures
  • Writing and Updating the SOP/RA database for the area and maintain a high standard for ISO 9001 audits and 5s internal audits.
  • Managing and leading the team operating within the area.
  • Improved efficiency and productivity by eliminating waste and production constraints.
  • Hold Appraisal & Performance reviews for the team every 6 months.
  • Logistical management for both the Prototype area (Including materials & Chemical Stocks)
  • Forward planning of Chemical trials
  • Scheduling Production & Testing
  • Flow calibration for the various chemical lines and output calculations for desired densities.
  • Involved in major projects revolving around fire performance and thermal improvements within the PIR industry.

  • Mechanical & Chemical maintenance for the Prototype area and all related equipment including pumps, pipes, tanks.
