I am the line manager for a team of HR professionals, a member of the senior leadership team, and play the leading role as the HR officer in an organisation with 550 employees. Some of my areas of responsibility include:

  • Overall responsibility for the recruitment process, developing KPIs, oversight of the process, ensuring HIQA compliance, workforce planning, operational management and regular preparation of reports to the Director of HR.
  • Leading on all employee relations, providing advice on all ER issues and best practice, tracking all ER issues, implementing all ER-related policies, and supporting line managers and senior leadership colleagues on all ER matters.
  • Leading on all trust in care cases, tracking, advising line managers, and ensuring all processes are completed in line with policy, including all meetings and investigations.
