Greet and assist customers, providing product recommendations and answering inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments securely. Maintain a tidy and organized store layout, restocking shelves and arranging displays to attract customers and promote merchandise. Duties within my working schedule included:

• Till, Floor, Ordering, Deli, and locking the shop at the end of the shift
• Led and trained newly recruited shop assistants
• Promoted from tills and shop floor sales assistant to in addition ordering the stock for the shop floor aisles.
• Performed opening and closing procedures according to company protocol.
• It was also my responsibility to conduct regular stock checks within the store room and maintain good stock availability.
• Answering customer inquiries regarding products, prices and availability.
• Responsible for checking off any stock that arrived by additional suppliers into the store room.
• Improved the store’s visual merchandising by creating attractive displays, updating signage and ensuring stock availability.
