• Charter Medical Private Hospital is a 77-bed hospital that offers a wide range of diagnostic, treatment, and surgical services. As a Registrar, I work on a rotational basis, covering both the 24/7 Step Down Unit (SDU) and the daycare Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) as required.
  The SDU is a 24/7 service and will require clinical cover on a 24/7 basis. As a registrar, I provide on-site cover for the facility on a scheduled rota basis.
  ● Attend relevant daily Safety Huddles, MDT meetings.
  ● Complete twice-daily ward rounds on inpatients and be available for any clinical issues. ● Advise patients and answer any and all medical questions as appropriate.
  Admission and discharge planning of the patients.
  Participate in resuscitation exercises, audits, and tests.
  Provide timely, coordinated medical diagnosis and follow-up to patients referred through their GP.
  Support the range of clinical and educational activities.
  ● Deal with overall responsibility for any emergency situations that may arise.

• Fatima Hospital is a private hospital consisting of multiple specialties, including Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Obs & Gynae, Aesthetics, and Emergency Medicine.
  Perform duties in emergencies and indoors; supervise junior doctors and paramedical staff of the hospital.
  Assessed and examined patients to effectively triage and plan treatments.
  ● Improved patient outcomes and delivery of care by elevating clinical quality processes. ● Recognized signs and symptoms of undiagnosed medical conditions affecting treatments.

• Managed comprehensive care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medicine cases.
  Conducted academic sessions focused on up-to-date treatment guidelines.
  Facilitated teaching for MBBS students, contributing to their professional development.

• Administered emergency treatment to patients requiring immediate attention.

PIMS is the largest public teaching hospital in the capital, Islamabad, and one of the largest hospitals in Pakistan, having 2,000 beds and 33 departments.
Worked as a Postgraduate Resident in almost all the subspecialties.
I covered inpatient, outpatient, and two emergency duties per week. My job was full-time, regular, and residential.
My jobs also include doing rounds, discussing the patients with consultants, presenting mortality meetings weekly, and attending journal clubs.
During my residency, I used to teach undergraduates at an affiliated medical school (two classes per week).
● Dealt with emergencies like acute pulmonary edema, cardiogenic shock, acute coronary syndrome, acute severe bronchial asthma, acute exacerbation of COPD, poisoning, upper GIT bleed, acute confusional state, hypertensive emergency, stroke, status epilepticus, electrolyte imbalances, diabetic comas, various poisonings, etc.
During the training period, I was rotated through Cardiology, Neurology, Dermatology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Intensive Care Unit, and Psychiatry for 2 months each.
Worked in the Covid pandemic in Covid wards and managed patients with ARDS.

• Provided critical medical services, encompassing resuscitation, stabilization, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral.
  Evaluated presenting issues by conducting comprehensive history taking and examinations.
  Facilitated referrals to necessary diagnostic, therapeutic, and support services.
