I am an established news editor with expertise in idea generation, editorial judgment and team leadership. I demonstrate outstanding organisational skills and have strong communication abilities.

I am motivated, resourceful and driven. I am a positive-thinking person, I take the initiative and I react to and solve problems quickly.

I have 12 years experience in the Irish Independent and I am keen to expand my skill-set and take on a new challenge.

• Interests include spending time with family and friends, running, reading. travel and gardening.

Board director at BMYI (Blakestown Mountview Youth Initiative) - a referral-based service dedicated to supporting young people at risk of early and problematic substance misuse. Receives funding by Tusla, HSE addiction services and The Blanchardstown Drugs Task Force. 

I am also part of a local community clean-up group in Ballyfermot Lower - we have won Dublin City Council Neighbourhood Awards for our work.
