- Outdoor activities- I enjoy being outdoors. I am from a farming background and fully appreciate the value of nature as a learning resource for children. An outdoor classroom can be easily created during fine weather, nature walks are always enjoyed by the children, and trails based on any school subject can be made in the school playground/environs.
- Fitness- I pride myself on my fitness and positive outlook on a healthy lifestyle. This is continued into the classroom, promoting good health and developing children's gross motor skills through P.E
- Mindfulness practice- through fitness and CPBD, I have begun to understand the need for mindfulness in the classroom. I ensure children get the opportunity to practice mindfulness as a life long skill.
- Music- I have a keen interest in singing and I play the piano. Before my Masters, I was part of St. Michaels Church choir. Should I be employed in your school I would be delighted to teach music as an extracurricular activity and organise a school choir.
