Debbie-lee Gaffney

I hail from Donegal where I learnt my trade as a player before moving to cavan with my husband. I currently work as a nurse in cavan general endoscopy unit. I am first and foremost a wife and mother to 2 teenage kids. However I am also a dynamic female LGFA coach with a proven track record at club and county level coaching both Senior and underage LGFA teams having most recently help lead Cavan LGFA U14 team to Ulster Platinum championships and All Ireland runners-up in 2024.

I along with my team foster a positive environment that drives success and develops talent. I am a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on added responsibilities for the good of my players and management team to ensure they get the best that they deserve.

I am an experienced leader and past player with a strong background in Captaining and guiding teams I've played for to club and county success.

I am always willing to learn new skills and will always as a female coach and former player do my best for the teams Im involved in to support them and help them achieve their goals both individually and collectively.
