  • I teach S1-S5 students English and Language Arts (LA) including; Poems & Songs, Social Issues, Popular Culture, Narrative Writing, Film Studies/Production, Learning English Through Drama, Music Video Production, Genre Studies and Melodrama.
  • As Teacher in Charge of Drama Club I coach students while they are scriptwriting, rehearsing and producing a performance for the Drama Festival and also Speech Day.
  • As TIC of English Society I coordinate and help students participate in and organize various activities such as English Café, KTV competition, Film Appreciation, iPad Word Game Competitions etc.
  • I work successfully, with pupils with behavior problems and special needs, (such as Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and Mental Illness), individually and in groups.
  • My teaching strategies included group work and whole class teaching for multi-classes, catering for the weaker students and special needs students.
  • In 2017 The Principal offered me a promotion and a pay rise as Coordinator of English Activities and LA in charge of two NETs. The English Panel also asked if I would be willing to take on the position of KLA Coordinator (Junior Panel Head) in future.
