Completed recruit training in first six months, then served two years on Le Eithne as mechanician and member of naval armed boarding team conducting armed drug raids on suspicious vessels at sea.

Then I spent one year in the Naval dockyard. Then I spent a year on board Le Orla as a mechanician and naval boarding team member, from there i moved into the fire training yard in the National Maritime College of Ireland as part of the fire fighting training team. From there I applied for a transfer into the Irish Air Corps as a specialist aviation fire fighter and truck driver in charge of responding to any emergencies on base. Aircorps firefighter of the year 2016.

• Patrolled various premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the safety of personnel and property.
• Patrolled grounds after hours on foot to maintain visible presence and detect violations.
• Monitored and authorised entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security.
• Checked doors, windows and gates for signs of unauthorised entry.
• Monitored CCTV systems to identify disruptions or unlawful acts, promptly reporting any incidents to law enforcement agencies.

• Kept shelves neat, clean and organised through visual merchandising.
• Organised backroom supplies and managed stock rotation to maximise shelf life of perishable items.
• Operated register to process payments via cheque, cash and cards.
• Demonstrated flexibility by covering various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
