- Evaluation of the effect of Native Irish plant-derived phytocompounds on the Innate Immune Cytokine production, Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute (Post Graduate Thesis: MSc Immunology), This project gave me practical hands-on experience in cell culture, cell viability assays (MTT) as well as ELISA. The plant-derived Phytocompounds were provided by the NatPro Institute, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin. Two cell lines were used iBMDMs and HEK 293 T Cells. The cell stimulating elements which were tested are as follows: TLR2 ligand (PAM3CSK4), TLR4 ligand (Bacterial LPS), NLRP3 inflammasome activator (Nigericin toxin), Mediator of inflammation/functional DAMP (IL-1), Master regulator of pro-inflammatory cytokine production (TNF)
- Isolation & characterization of SDS degrading bacteria from Car & Laundry wastewater samples & to study their SDS degradation efficiency, Fergusson College Pune (Post Graduate Thesis: MSc Microbiology), This project gave me a vast experience in the Isolation of SDS Degrading bacteria from different sources, their biochemical characterization and evaluation of their SDS degradation efficiency. The parameters utilized for evaluating their SDS degradation efficiency were pH, temperature, Agitation and SDS concentration. Methylene Blue Active substance assay (Calorimetric assay) was conducted for the analysis of SDS degradation efficiency
