

I am a former South African Rugby Player that captained the Springboks during midweek games on tour and also represented Bristol, Stormers, Blue Bulls, Mpumalanga and the SA Barbarians in a career that included playing 1st class cricket and being a Junior Springbok Judoka.
I have spent the last 24 years coaching in Ireland at various levels and age groups.
Having worked for the Leinster Branch of the IRFU as a Coach Development Officer for 11 years, I decided to start my own business, Rugby Academy Ireland, where I’m the director of the 1st Independent Rugby Academy in Ireland.
Responsible for our player pathway and programming so that players can reach their full potential and become professional rugby players
Planning, developing, managing, and implementing coaching and rugby programs through all age groups and genders.
Coach Education through accreditation, mentoring and developing of coaches at all levels.
Player Identification and development where I have been involved in all areas including Mini, Youth, Woman’s, 7’s and Senior level and have coached at International, Provincial, Club and School level.
Responsible for Coach Education and Player Development in Metropolitan area
