  • Observed maintenance technicians carrying out firstline and second line heavy maintenance inspections on various aircraft.
  • Basic introduction to Ejection seat , safety precautions and their operating sequence.
  • Given highly informative briefings by aircraft technicians, Aeronautical Engineer's and pilots on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Introduced to the Irish Air Corps training aircraft simulator. Completed preflight checks, aircraft take off , flying a circuit, and successfully landing and taxiing aircraft to ramp area.
  • Insight into Air Traffic control.
  • Importance of reconnaissance aircraft and how they assist. Search and rescue operations and state security.
  • Shown the helicopter fleet and their role profiles. Including the Garda helicopter unit.

    Completed Bronze Presidential Award

    Was selected to represent the Midlands rugby team in a series of matches against other provincial junior teams.

    Won numerous Leinster and Midland titles with Edenderry RFC.

    Through my part-time work I saved and purchased my own car.

  • Rugby - Playing for Edenderry RFC since 2011 to present and play for St Mary's Secondary School.
  • GAA - Playing for Ballyfore GAA and St. Mary's Secondary School.
  • Vehicle Restorations - I have carried out servicing and repairs to tractors and car's for myself and neighbour's. I currently have a pickup truck that I am upgrading and restoring.
  • Volunteering with The Irish Historic Flight Foundation assisting with the servicing and maintenance of vintage aircraft.
