Graduated secondary school in 2022 before moving to Dublin to study for a Level 8 degree in Sport Science and Health at DCU. Since starting, I have developed both academically and practically — gaining knowledge in sport science while building skills in coaching, leadership, and performance.
As an intern with Laois GAA, I gained hands-on experience coaching young players, teaching them fundamental skills of Gaelic games, and promoting the spirit of sport. I also worked with Skerries Harps GAA Club in strength and conditioning, delivering tailored sessions and performance testing for senior players. Using my background in sport science and my Sport Ireland Personal Training Certificate, I helped athletes make noticeable improvements in their performance.
From a personal sporting perspective, I have represented my county across all levels from U15 development squads through to senior inter-county, making my debut at 18. Highlights include winning a National League Division 4 title as well as a Sigerson Cup and Freshers title with DCU.
