Main Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Director and assist with the implementation of a complete management/ticketing/concession/head office software package that will enable head office and cinema operations to be more efficient
• Research and recommend the necessary hardware to operate such software - to include, but not limited to, tills, cash draws, ATM’s, modems, servers, PC’s, printers.
• Assist with the transition from the current management system to the new
• Service and maintain all current and new hardware
• Organise and complete all new hardware installations and assist the Director of IT with any software requirements
• Install upgrades, evaluate and install patches and configure PC and network printing, security, software and files services
• Maintain, monitor and analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computersystem security, monitor network, computer and disk utilization.
• Provide training to head office and cinema managers, when needed, on the use of all hardware and network equipment
• Onsite hardware and network installation and troubleshooting - Perform PC, application and network troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose fix common hardware/software problems
• Provide head office and the cinemas within the group, PC, hardware and technical support, remotely,by phone and on occasion onsite and possess the ability to explain/demonstrate the issues/resolutions to managers
• Be familiar and able to implement all necessary security standards to ensure the company is PCI DSS compliant
• Ability to handle multiple tasks of unplanned work
• Ability to interface professionally with individuals over the phone and in person
• Keep abreast of the latest in technology and advise the company of any new software/programs that would be of interest and benefit the Company

Digital Projection

Installation, repair and maintenance of screen networks, projectors, projector servers, TMS systems, sound systems, UPS, switches, spokes, air extract systems.

Hardware & Software

Installation, configuration, repair and maintenance of Tills, ATMs, network, switches, back office PCs, servers, SonicWalls, modems and data display systems. Electrical cabling/ termination
