• Responsible for opening & closing the bar & restaurant.
• Managed the bar & restaurant while our manager was in extended vacation.
• Responsible for creating schedules, organising event, ordering, stock taking & balancing all cash desks at the end of our night.
• Created a friendlier, more fun, together atmosphere around the bar with & amongst our regular guests. And a tighter team with our staff.
Began as a bar tender & moved quickly up as the senior bar tender. After for years, when the business was sold, I got promoted to the Food & Beverage supervisor (manager) of the resort.
Responsible for all daily duties. Scheduling, hiring & firing of all staff. Planning all events. Including managing the property during 'lock down' covid. The resort became a quarantine facility until we reopened.
Since I began working at thirteen, I started at the bottom & worked my way up to managerial positions in all.
I have only had six jobs in my life & been very lucky with whom I've been employed by but equally them by me.
