Gained hands-on experience overseeing shutdown procedures for a multi-billion-dollar AI Data Centre in Charlotte, North Carolina. Coordinated contractor payments to ensure timely compensation for completed works and managed the demobilisation process, including the organisation of temporary storage for uninstalled materials and equipment. Negotiated loss-of-profit agreements with the main contractor despite the absence of a contractual clause, helping the client avoid potential legal disputes that could have impacted their reputation.

Upon completion of the Charlotte project, Soben assigned me to a new Ozempic production facility under construction in Raleigh, North Carolina. There, I supported the project team in reviewing monthly pay applications and change orders. Over a 4.5-month period, I earned the trust of senior colleagues and was entrusted with cost control responsibilities for a standalone building, approved directly by the client. This role involved regular meetings with the project controls team and contractors to identify and address current and upcoming project issues.

During this assignment, I enhanced my technical proficiency in key project management and documentation platforms including Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Separately, I also supported Soben’s managing directors by preparing earthwork and wildlife reports for development sites across the United States. These reports were used to assess planning approval criteria and compliance at county and state levels.
