My uncle was diagnosed with rapidly progressive early onset dementia and as a result required full time care. I stepped in to provide the care he needed; this required that i take a break from my studies and from work as this was a full-time role since he needed aid with every aspect of living. During this period I had to navigate the court system in order to organise the fair deal scheme for him as he progressed to a care home and also the court orders to become his decision making representative so I spent a lot of time organising appointments and court dates.

• Managed customer interactions for HUB controls, a company producing climate-friendly thermostats. Dismantled returned units to identify faults and managed deliveries and installations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Handled inquiries from existing and prospective customers, providing support and product information.
• Improved customer satisfaction by effectively handling complaints and inquiries.
• Processed orders promptly ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Ensured smooth running of operations with timely preparation of reports.

• Applied horticultural knowledge to enhance aesthetic appeal of Templeogue Village during summer, resulting in recognition from residents for dedication and innovative solutions.
• Implemented fire safety measures, reducing risk of incidents.
• Facilitated arrangements for events, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

• I learned a lot about horticulture with this hands-on experience and found out I have talent and passion for it.

• I did work experience here in transition year and excelled in this area as my strong interpersonal skills and innovative solutions really had a chance to shine through.

• I worked my way up from stacking shelves to running the butcher counter and being responsible for tracking the goods coming in, I expedited a lot of the day to day tasks to make things run more efficiently.

• I was given a lot of experience in this company, I was responsible for clerical work mostly organising files, my innovation shone through and I was also brought in to work in the "creation" floor where the artists come up with ideas for advertising campaigns where I shared my ideas some of which were used in advertising campaigns, I also ran errands so I'm not afraid of hard work.
