Summary

I have received extensive training from Mary Immaculate College on the Primary Language Curriculum and the new Primary Maths Curriculum. I completed my Droichead this year in Bunscoil na Cathrach which allowed me to observe and assist experienced teachers. This has improved my quality of teaching as I have gained several strategies for classroom management along with numerous resources to utilise in my future career.

I am a dedicated and creative educator with a strong focus on classroom management, employing effective strategies such as callbacks, classroom rules, and reward systems to foster a positive learning environment.

I feel strongly about creating an inclusive classroom where all students feel comfortable to participate, form opinions and be themselves. I show children that there is more than one way of communicating by integrating the lámh communication system into mainstream classrooms.
