I am currently attending my second year at ATU Donegal studying, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. As part of our course, we are sent on work experience to gain a more practical understanding of the theory we have learned, your company really stood out to me in my searching for potential options. I Feel I could gain a lot of knowledge and experience and help the company. I have gained many IT skills through my school and college work, some of these include working Cubit and excel as well as having a formative knowledge of Auto CAD and Revit. I am currently a student member of SCSI; I have a great Interest in learning and working my way into becoming a chartered Quantity Surveyor.

I have completed many small projects and assignments during my Coarse, Such Modules include:

• Measurement and pre-contract cost planning were I learned how to understand and operate excel and cubit when producing BOQ's.
• Technical Writing + Communications were I learned to improve my vocabulary and produced standardized letters and Emails.
• however this year we have a project that consists of a team of 4-5 people in different coarse's with one being appointed team leader who oversees the project, the teams will then have to make an entire bill of quantities. This project will give us a good idea of working with a design team pre-Contract.
