My career has been defined by a results-orientated approach. I assisted the bar supervisor by increasing the stock control by nearly 5%, the highest it has been in the past three years. This displays my tenacity in achieving targets and exceeding expectations.

The utilisation of many skills which i have adopted such as upselling, team leadership, business analysis and effective communication coincides with my ability to excel in a fast-paced environment to ensure operational excellence.

I have ran numerous events and weddings leading a team to fantastic results. While working my way up from a bar floor staff during the early years of my five extensive years in hospitality, I learned all aspects on how to run a department. While also accumulating vast experience within the restaurant and other departments such as banqueting and meeting and events, this has helped me to diversify as a manager and gain an overall understanding into the operations of a large hotel containing 148 rooms.

In addition, I have attained a great comprehension of understanding forecasts and ensure all relevant targets are achieved such as keeping the payroll lower while exceeding the revenue projected within the budget. While pursuing my Masters in (Strategic) Business and Management in Dublin City University after attaining a high 2:1 in a Bachelors of Business and Management in Maynooth I took on the role of duty manager, this displays my effective time management being able to complete both roles on a full time basis.
