I am a qualified registered general nurse with 10 years’ experience. My research interests include trauma , education , simulation and major incident management. I have presented the findings of my own research with both oral and poster presentations at multiple research conferences. I was the recipient of the ‘Excellence in Emergency Nursing’ bursary at the 2021 IAEM conference with my QI project on Conscious Proning in suspected/confirmed Covid19 patients. I am an Associate Professional/Adjunct Lecturer with the School of Nursing in UCD , a Nursing Fellow of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery , RCSI, Dublin and am on the nursing faculty for the RCSI Emergency Medicine Simulation Education and Training Programme
